Lady Bears vs SDSU – Injury

Senior forward Rachel Allison just went down clutching her left knee with 4:20 on the clock. After about a minute on the floor she walked into the locker room mostly under her own power.

The Lady Bears are down 53-49.

Update: Allison jogged back over to the bench at the 2:20 mark with her left knee taped up.

Game is now tied 55 all with 1:14 on the clock and Allison is back in the game.

Lady Bears vs SDSU – Mid 2nd Half

Sophomore guard Kelli Griffin has kept the Lady Bears in the game, scoring a career high 14 points with 11:40 left in the second half as Baylor trails SDSU 42-40.

Senior guard Jhasmin Player’s up to four fouls.

Lady Bears vs SDSU – Early 2nd Half

There has been much trading of goals in the first five minutes of the second half. SDSU lead Baylor 36-34.
Senior forward Rachel Allison has gotten more involved, adding a couple more field goals for a total of six points. Senior guard Jhasmin Player also got her first two of the game.
The Jackrabbits have kept pace, however, continuing to shoot well. They are 44.8 percent from the field.

Lady Bears vs SDSU – Pregame

No. 2 seed Baylor takes on No. 7 seed South Dakota State in the United Spirit Arena here in Lubbock tonight.
The Lady Bears are coming off a 87-82 overtime victory over No. 15 seed UT-San Antonio on Sunday night. Earlier that day SDSU beat No. 10 seed TCU handily, 90-55.

TCU vs South Dakota State – Final

No. 7 seed South Dakota State beat No. 10 seed TCU 90-55. The Jackrabbits will take on the winner of tonight’s 8:30 match between No. 2 seed Baylor and No. 15 seed UTSA.
